Lil' Dooey's

If you looked carefully at the news last Monday, March 10, you would have found that lil' ole Columbus, Mississippi hosted a get together at MUW for Barak Obama. Why, you say? The Mississippi Democratic Primary, which is usually an afterthought for candidates, was taken pretty seriously by Hilary and Barak and was being held on Kaite's 18th birthday, March 11.
We went online after school and found, to our amazement, that our favorite BBQ restaurant, Lil Dooey's, was being featured in The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and the Denver Post! Evidently, someone had steered Obama to Lil' Dooey's for lunch.

So we decided it would be the perfect occasion for "Take Out"! Marianna had been craving a chicken tenders salad from Lil Dooey's for months; one disadvantage to living in Tupelo...no Lil' Dooeys! She was home nursing a sinus infection and bronchitis for spring break. Her spring break was last week, while ours is NOW...this week! For which we are MOST thankful.
